20 years ago on January 28, 2004 I gave brith to the sweetest Natasha three weeks early! She came three weeks before her due date and sadly she left us too early, … years too early.

Gail Corbett from Kid’s Cancer Care interviewed us this past summer and I thought I‘d share the article she wrote in honour of Natasha’s 20th birthday. It’s hard to believe that today we could have been celebrating with Natasha as she turns 20 years old. I wonder what she would be like, what would she be doing, who would she be hanging out with , where is she working or studying or travelling… instead I am left to wonder those same things but, from a heavenly perspective.

Happy Birthday Natasha, we are having a birthday brunch in your honour at the house today and yes I made a cake too! This year your cake will include Anika your cousin who turned 26 on the 26th! Always remember the special birthday celebrations you two shared. We all miss you!
